Project Objective

The goal of this edit was to elevate a rough blog draft into a clean, engaging, and publishable piece. I preserved the original voice while improving flow, reducing redundancy, and enhancing emotional connection through structure and rhythm.

Reflection

This spec project allowed me to demonstrate how a conversational voice can be preserved—even elevated—through careful structural editing. I love refining lifestyle content to strike the perfect balance between casual and credible.

Mornings are a weird time. Some people wake up full of energy and are ready to do a million things, and others hit snooze three or four times before they can even think about brushing their teeth. But no matter what kind of person you are, there’s something about having a routine that can make your whole day feel a little bit easier.

There are two contrasting types of morning people. Some wake up energized, ready to do a million things, and some hit snooze three or four times before they can even think about brushing their teeth. I’m not advocating for everyone to become a “morning person.”

No matter what kind of person you are, the energized morning tackler or the snoozer, having a routine can make your whole day feel easier.
